Blokland provides temperature-controlled storage facilities suitable for both frozen and chilled products. Our storage capacity is 100,000 m³, equivalent to 22,500 pallet spaces.

Products can be stored in mobile racking, fixed racking or bulk storage areas. Mobile racking allows every pallet to be accessed individually.
If your product needs to be stored at a temperature between −20 °C and +4 °C, you have come to the right place.

Blokland operates several packaging lines in a dedicated area that meets food safety requirements. We are approved by the NVWA for these activities and also meet FSSC 22000 requirements.

We offer several ways to package your products. Let us know your packaging or repackaging requirements and we will explore the options with you.

BCS has 13 individually controlled freezing tunnels with a freezing capacity of more than 1,000 pallet spaces. Our modern ammonia/CO₂ refrigeration system allows us to freeze your product to your required core temperature.

We have two tempering tunnels in which approximately 20 tonnes of product can be thawed or tempered using a fully controlled, computer-managed process. Our years of experience allow us to control this process very precisely.

The process starts in line with the requested loading time to avoid disrupting the processor's production. This system maintains quality by thawing the load evenly and under controlled conditions to your specified temperature.
